Dodie Marchese is an artist and teacher of fine arts. Much of her time has been dedicated to the arts and healing. Over the years, she has worked with children and adults at the Guilford Art Center, CT Hospice and SARAH as well as numerous workshops and private lessons.
Dodie has shown her work internationally, and has been honored with awards for both her work and her dedication to art therapy. She has a BFA from Pratt Institute.
She has received an Appreciation Award for the 2006 breast cancer cancellation stamp design from the United States Postal Service and the Yale Cancer Center. Public collections include The Slater Museum and Yale Nursing School.
