I wanted to do some very colorful and fun artwork for children to enjoy. ABC Fantasy gave me a way to do this – it allowed me to express myself by taking the shapes of the letters and putting them into the human form along with various objects and creatures.
As the paintings developed, I realized that the letters had personalities and they often interacted with the various creatures through eye contact. It seemed that a connection was made of a personal nature. This spiritual dimension started to emerge from the paintings.
